After graduating from Oxford University John qualified as an ACA with Arthur Andersen before moving to industry where he has been Head of Tax at 3 major multinationals, specialising in all aspects of Tax, Treasury, Insurance, Statutory Accounts, but with particular emphasis on Payroll Taxes, Pensions, VAT, Transfer Pricing and Group Reorganisations.
During that time John passed his CIOT and ACT qualifications. At AT&T he won the Best In House Tax Team award and at Kraft he developed many employee benefit cost reductions ideas. John sits on the CIOT Corporate Tax subcommittee, was regional Chairman of the Midlands ACT.
The 17 years hands on experience gained in Industry provides a value added fit and complements the skills and experience of the other Partners which gives Innovation a unique perspective to solving client problems.
