Russell Powis
Russell first specialised in taxation shortly after qualifying as a chartered accountant. In the course of his career he worked in Birmingham and London before finally moving to Cardiff in 1981 to become tax partner with Coopers & Lybrand, now PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Over the next 20 years he built up the practice from a green field site to the largest tax and pensions consultancy practice in South West England and Wales, with over 100 specialists. He was the most senior tax partner in the west region of PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Russell has worked for a wide variety of clients over the years, ranging from owner managed businesses to PLC’s and multi-national companies.
